MAJORITY DECISIONS AND AUTHORITIES
The power elite in the area of religion has for a long time been sold on the so-called democratic system, where majority decisions are going to give the direction or school of thought. If the Council of the World Church, the Lutheran World Alliance, the church alliances and others have decided something by majority vote, the church must accept it, even if it is homosexuality, partnership and similar subjects. Then they try to present this in such a way that people can accept and follow these decisions and still have a good conscience, even if it is against the Word of God.[92] If the bishops do not get a majority vote for their liberal view, we see today that the state helps them to carry through unbiblical teachings, that again leads to a fallen Protestantism. It is a fact that any unbiblical decision gaining entry into the individual's life and in the churches, will be like yeast. Even if the yeast is small in the beginning, it will after a while work through the whole batch of dough (the church), and the church will turn out to be a false church.[93]

The so-called democracy majority decisions have set the standard for the decisions of the Christian life. This model removes the personal responsibility. In the first Christian church this model was used: "For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and us".[94] That means it was in full agreement, and the agreement was in harmony with the Word of God. But in the democracy's Christianity, it seems that the Holy Spirit shall or must agree with them (the majority). Consequently chuch leaders have become captives of their own majority decisions, decisions that often are against the Bible's clear teaching... Men are accustomed to put their faith in the authorities. Therefore the question is: Who is your authority?
We should have God as our authority, who has revealed His will through Christ and through the Word of the Bible. Therefore when a problem is to be solved, either in small groups or in big church councils and alliances, and they come together, they should read the Word of God and adjust to it. The Bible gives us this advice: "Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?"[95] And: "Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD."[95] Never put yourself in a situation that makes man your authority. Seek advice and solutions in the Word of God!
When we today experience that a small group takes the liberty of steering a course that often is contrary to the teachings of the Bible and that all others are going to follow then we talk about spiritual dictatorship put into effect. In several countries the spiritual dictatorship shows that people in churches and organizations, that do not follow the masses, are persecuted, badgered, declared incapable by imprisonment and are being deprived of their positions. The Bible says that the time will come when this practice will be followed concerning those who will refuse to take the mark of the beast.
When we realize that the authorities within Christian circles and the church's majority decisions lead away from the teaching of the Bible, then we have to obey God rather than men as Peter and the disciples did.[96] This also is a good "thumb of rule", for which day we are going to keep as the day of rest. Even if the church, long after the time of Jesus, has ruled by law that Sunday shall be the day of rest instead of the Sabbath (Saturday), we also here must obey God rather than men.
It requires a lot to go against the authorities and everyone who is a part of the apostasy, but when we discover that people have decided something else than the Bible or what Jesus stood for regardless of what it is, then we gladly have to follow Jesus' example and the plain truth. If we do so, we can know that He will go with us. Since Jesus kept the Sabbath, it will only be natural for the true Christian to keep it.[97]
FALSE SHEPHERDS
Maybe you wonder why the church-leaders, such as priests and pastors have not told you about this change that has taken place regarding the Ten Commandments? Maybe some have not discovered this change, but the simple answer is that too many have been false shepherds and have kept the truth about the "mark of the beast" hidden from the people. They calm the people with a pleasant message about peace and reconciliation. They say that "the Sabbath belongs to the Jews". "We are living under the new covenant, and then Sunday is the day of rest". But think for yourself. The Sabbath was there long before the first Jew - Abraham - came on the scene. The Sabbath was from the beginning - from Creation.
And Jesus tells us that it was made for man.[89] It was made for you and me. Besides Jesus says that as long as heaven and earth last, not the least point nor the smallest detail of the Law will be done away with.[98] The Ten Commandments are just as much valid in the new covenant. But in the new covenant we can come directly to Jesus to get forgiveness and cleansing from our sins. The offerings are done away with. Jesus came as the true lamb of sacrifice and was sacrificed once and for all.[99]
THE SUNDAY MOVEMENT
Today's situation speaks for itself. The prelude to the "mark of the beast" has already started. A Sunday movement is in motion worldwide. Different newspaper-articles seem to confirm this: Church leaders "long for a renewed Sunday celebration."[100] They want to activate trade confederacies and labor unions and the general public "to defend and protect the serenity of the day of rest",[92] and even "fines for breaking the peace and quietness of the day of rest."[101]
It is appropriate to enjoin the day of rest, but it must be done with a love for the truth, and not by force. Besides - if the day of rest is to be enjoined, the starting point should be to choose Christ's day of rest - the Sabbath, our Saturday - and not the man-instituted day of rest - Sunday.
The European Union are lobbying to have Sunday as the common day of rest.[102] Jaques Delors - former president of the EU - wanted "one soul, one opinion and one spirituality in the European institutions."[103] In EU they build upon this model, and Sunday - as the day of rest - is going to unite them into one spirituality. This move by the Catholics is a smart one. They are trying to find points they can agree upon within the Union, and Sunday - as a common day of rest - is something that Catholics and most Protestants can agree upon.
In a speech that the present Pope made (as a cardinal) he presented his working plan in three main points, and keeping Sunday holy was his first point.[105]
When Pope John Paul II published his pastoral letter in 1991, he pointed out in this letter that to keep Sunday as the day of rest is a right that no one can take away from them, and that God will punish those who try to deprive them of this religious right... The state shall guarantee that the workers have their rest from work on Sunday.[106]
Does this remind you of the constraint in religious matters that the Bible tells about, namely that those who will not take the mark of the beast are going to be persecuted and punished?[107]
REGAINING POWER
History shows that when the Catholic Church had sovereign power (about 500 years ago), they also used that power. They tortured and killed tens of thousands of people adhering to other beliefs that refused to submit themselves to the papacy's antichristian system.
The Bible reveals the sad fact that the time will come again, when the papacy will use force in order to subdue the conscience and regain dominion, and that apostate Protestants will unite with Catholicism in the persecution of those who refuse to submit to the instituted law of exalting Sunday as the day of rest.[108]
Those that will not exalt the papacy's mark of authority - Sunday, as the day of rest - will be labelled as rebels. They will be viewed as "those who prevent peace on earth". The Bible says that an order will be issued to put them to death.[107]
In that connection it is also interesting to notice two new books from the Vatican, e.g. the new universal Catholic Catechism and the book, "Crossing the Threshold of Hope". These books (together with the book "The Keys of This Blood" by former Jesuit-professor of the Papal Biblical Institute, Malachi Martin), tell how the papacy plans to be the spiritual head for all the Christian churches. The New Catholic Catechism permits people to use weapon's, if the use of weapons has reasonable prospects of succeeding. Or as the text reads: "There must be serious prospects of success."[109]
ABUSE OF POWER IN ORDER TO DEFEAT
PROTESTANTISM AND THE INDEPENDENT NATIONS
The Bible makes it clear that it is this power, the papacy, "which reigneth over the kings of the earth." "And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of the saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth."[110] The inquisition exists today, but with new methods; as practiced in the civil war in former Yugoslavia, where the Catholics (the Croatians) are about to regain lost dominion from the second World War. The Croatian leaders stood by their Catholic friend, Adolf Hitler. Today Pope John Paul II stands by the strong man of Croatia, President Franjo Tudjman, who "wants full control" in the area, through murder of civilians, burning of Serbian homes and plundering.[111]
The Serbs have not forgotten the massacre of their people in 1941 at the hands of the Roman Catholic Croatians. They still feel angry and bitter; so when the communist grip was relaxed in their country and when the Croatians decided to set up a separate state of their own, the alarm bells were sounded in the minds of the Serbs. They knew all too well that the Croatians may attempt to repeat the atrocities of the past.... Whether we like it or not. The conflict in former Yugoslavia is in response to a campaign of genocide which was commenced and fomented by those who belonged to the Roman Catholic Church."[111]

From the oath of the Catholics' frontline warriors, the Jesuits, we read of the liberties they can take in order to spread Catholicism: "I do further promise and declare that I will, when opportunity presents, make and wage relentless war, secretly and openly, against all heretics, Protestants and liberals, as I am directed to do so, to extirpate them from the face of the whole earth; and that I will spare neither age, sex, nor condition, and that I will hang, burn, waste, boil, flay, strangle and bury alive these infamous heretics; rip up their stomachs, and wombs of their women, and crush their infants' heads against the walls, in order to annihilate their execrable race. That when the same cannot be done openly, I will secretly use the poisonous cup, the strangulation cord, the steel of the poniard, or the leaden bullets, regardless of the honour, rank, dignity or authority of the person or persons, whatever may be their condition in life, either public or private, as I at any time may be directed to do, by any agent of the Pope, or superior of the brotherhood of the Holy Father of the Society of Jesus."[51] The Catholics have their frontline warriors - the Jesuits. They are very well educated, having studied at their own Catholic universities, especially in the United States (but also in the public universities as well as other denominations educational systems). Through their education they have been taught to infiltrate and occupy important positions in society all over the world. We see clearly that the Jesuit oath opens the way for them to use any method or crime in order to defeat Protestantism and the independent nations, so that they easier can spread Catholicism. Do we see any such infringements today? The Bible gives an answer to which power Satan especially works through in order to defeat God's co-workers. The Bible calls our attention to the fact that the papacy's abuse of power and infringement will be repeated shortly before the return of Jesus.[107] So just ahead of us we have tough times.
HAS NOT CHANGED
The Catholic Church now presents a fair front to the world, covering with apologies her record of horrible cruelties. She has clothed herself in Christlike garments; but she is unchanged. "Every principle of the papacy that existed in past ages exists today. The doctrines devised in the darkest ages are still held. Let none deceive themselves. If the reader would understand the agencies to be employed in the soon-coming contest, he has but to trace the record of the means which Rome employed for the same object in ages past. If he would know how papists and Protestants united will deal with those who reject their dogmas, let him see the spirit which Rome manifested toward the Sabbath and its defenders. Royal edicts, general councils and church ordinances sustained by secular power were the steps by which the pagan festival attained its position of honour in the Christian world."[112]
Let us briefly look at a few points which prove that the papacy stands for the same unbiblical truths today as in past times:
1. They still worship the virgin Mary. The Bible on the other hand says: "Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve."[113]
2. They also teach that the priest can forgive sin.[114] Here they have undertaken a task where the priest has taken the seat of Jesus. It is correct that we shall forgive those who have wronged us, who repent and ask forgiveness[115], but we are not to go to an erring, sinfull human being that in reality has nothing to do with the transgression in order to be forgiven. The final forgiveness we receive, is by going directly to Jesus Christ. He has never sinned. He died "that whosoever beliveth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."[116] It is only through Jesus Christ that we may have forgiveness of our sins. It is through this forgiveness that we can be accepted as clean before God.

3. The Catholic Church still looks upon the Pope as Peter's successor. They are of the opinion that people must obey him when it comes to questions on faith and teachings (Ex- cathedra Petri). Peter - however - is in the Bible described as PETROS which means a stone or a pebble. Christ on the other hand is called PETRA which means the Rock. It is Jesus Christ - the Rock - we must build our faith and our church on.
4. Neither is it the Catholic Church's traditions, customs and unbiblical teachings that are the keys with which we open or close, but God's truth which is revealed through Jesus Christ.
5. The Catholic Church further teaches that the Pope is the Vicar of Christ on earth. But no erring human being can take the place of Christ on earth. When Jesus left the earth at his ascension, He said: "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name...."[[117]
6. The Catholic Church also teaches that the priests conducting the mass, sacrifice Jesus once more but without blood (what Luther called the worst form of blasphemy). The Bible says that Jesus was sacrificed once and for all. As we eat the bread from the communion table, we are to remember what Jesus has done to save us, and not sacrifice Him once more.[118]
We have now only briefly touched on a few of the "harlot's" (the papacy's) deceptions and falsehoods which she gives to the powers of the earth as intoxicating wine.[119]
That the Catholic Church is the same today as in the past, has been confirmed and repeated in 1995 when the Catholic cardinal, Hume, ordained twelve former Anglican priests to Catholic deacons in the Westminster-cathedral in England. (More than 200 Anglican priests are now waiting to come into the Roman Catholic Church).
In his speech of ordination Hume was very careful in regard to the Anglican Church, "but the message was clear enough - that Rome still stands firm upon its teachings and positions, and that it has not changed."
Hume's statements were very clear - that Rome would not be a part of an ecumenic movement on an equal footing with other denominations. They would not change their teaching about Scripture and Tradition." [120]
SUNDAY LAWS ENFORCED
Both Catholics and Protestants have Sunday laws that lie dormant. When the day comes that these laws are being enforced, and when orders are put forth that Sunday is to be kept as a common day of rest - only then is the mark of the beast being fulfilled.
But even today we are in a position to choose. As we now know about the change that has been done concerning the day of rest, it is important that we now oppose and stand up against the false sabbath. We must choose to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. Jesus kept the Sabbath - the seventh day of the week - from sundown Friday until sundown Saturday.[121]

THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA - THE LEADING NATION
The Bible says that it is neither the papacy nor EU that will lead out in order to introduce the "mark of the beast", but that it will be a nation that is compared to a lamb. This lamb has two horns and speaks like a dragon.[122] There is not any other country than the United States - the land of religious freedom - that fulfils this point completely. The lamblike beast represents the United States' harmless and gentle system of government. The country's constitution has - until now - secured people the right of self-government, and that the people choose their representatives that make laws and enforce them. Freedom of religion was also introduced, so that the individual was allowed to worship God according to his own conscience.

The horns of the lamblike beast represents the two fundamental principles this country was built upon when it arose as a nation about 1776, just as the Bible says: It came "up out of the earth".(Rev.13.11) The two fundamental principles are Republicanism and Protestantism.[123] The lamblike beast with the voice of the dragon suggest a striking contrast between speech and practice in this nation. The nations speak through their legislative power and its judicial system. What we see today is that the United States is about to renounce its liberal and peaceful principles that have always been the basis of its constitution. Instead the United States now more and more follows a centralized and international-Catholic pattern. With a Jesuit-educated president - Bill Clinton - together with influential Catholic forces in Congress and the Supreme Court, they are now prepared to openly put aside the guarantees of the nation's freedom and impose constraint in religious matters by the civil authorities. That means that state and church in the United States will work together in order to press through religious laws which is an image of what the papacy represents. They will press through Sunday as the national day of rest.
The Protestants will, in other words, help the papacy enforce their false day of rest which is the first day of the week, Sunday ...and thus enforce "the mark of the beast".
CONSTRAINT IN RELIGIOUS MATTERS
Many will be surprised when the United States casts aside the Constitution, which upholds religious freedom, and leads the way in open restraint of religious matters. But already today we see how the United States sets the trends. Therefore it will not be so surprising that other countries soon will follow this example and impose this same command.[124]
There are also strong religious groups in the United States today, such as The Lord's Day Alliance, The Christian Coalition and others that work for the keeping of Sunday as the day of rest for everybody.
Because of moral decay, economic collapse and reduced interest in Christianity, they believe that the people and the nation must come back to the Ten Commandments in order to again receive God's blessing, and in this connection they will impose the false day of rest.
THE UNITED STATES WILL LEAD THE WAY
More than 100 years ago the author Ellen G. White wrote the following: "The people of the United States have been a favoured people; but when they restrict religious liberty, surrender Protestantism, and give countenance to popery, the measure of their guilt will be full, and "national apostasy" will be registered in the books of heaven. The result of this apostasy will be national ruin."[125] "Foreign nations will follow the example of the United States. Though she leads out, yet the same crisis will come upon our people in all parts of the world."[126]

SLAVES
A severe crisis is just ahead of us. We are therefore strongly admonished to prepare ourselves for this crisis, both physically and spiritually. Since the one who refuses to take the mark of the beast cannot buy or sell, we should try to adjust and prepare ourselves in a way so that the power elite does not need to pressure us through buying and selling. Money is power, and the structure in our society is built up in such a way that people in most cases are dependent on going to the store in order to stay alive. You need money to buy food in towns and cities. The money has been a controlling element which the power elite will take advantage of.
Do you have any kind of loans? The one who has such a loan is in the hands of the power elite. In addition there are only expenses in having a loan. Maybe we do not reflect on it, but when you have taken a loan, you are not only going to pay back the loan itself, but the expenses for interests and repayments are often many times larger than the amount of the loan. The power elite is milking us for money, like EU does with the countries that are members. If a borrower loses his job, or in any other way is not able to pay interests and repayments at the set time, both his house, car or boat are pretty soon in the hands of the power elite. Therefore, to have debt, makes us slaves. Rightly the Bible says: "The rich ruleth over the poor; and the borrower is servant to the lender."[127]
BACK TO NATURE
Today - when both men and animals contract diseases at an early age due to an artificial lifestyle - health reform is a necessity. The doctors have more or less failed their task. They very often as a part of their therapy give their patients poisonous medicine, which nearly always has some kind of side-effects. We need a health reform. We must get back to nature's simple remedies that God has given us: Fresh air in calm and beautiful surroundings, exercise, rest, sunshine, pure water, abstinence from intoxicants, healthy food like homegrown, unsprayed fruit and vegetables and trust in God. We should take good care of our health, and prevention of disease is better than to cure. A clean body also gives clear thoughts and makes it easier to seek God as well as making it easier to understand the purpose of life.
RURAL SURROUNDINGS VERSUS CITY-LIFE
Because of increasing moral decay, crime, robberies, murder, killings and so on - especially in the big cities - we will protect ourselves and our children from many evils by living in the country. Taking up residence in rural districts and not in the cities is God's instruction from the beginning of this earth's history. Those who want to prepare their lives to follow God's instructions and advice in moving out into the countryside, will therefore reap great benefits.
The State, the European - and international socialism and Catholicism will centralize in order to be able - in the best possible way - to rule and exploit the individual. We should rather go in the opposite direction and decentralize. Then human beings have greater freedom, and each individual a more determined say in the affairs of governing.
Therefore - in order for the power elite and the civil authorities not to have too big of a grip on us, and that we ourselves can take the best care of our physical and spiritual need - I will hereby appeal to you to sell your house and property in the city or town and buy a much cheaper property in the country! Maybe then you will be free of debt - and really free. That is a wonderful thing!
Those who are free of debt and have their homes in the rural districts have won themselves great wealth. If we at the same time learn to practice self-denial, we will really experience what true freedom is. Jesus says: "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me."[129]
Be honest with yourself: Since the time will soon come when those who refuse to take the mark of the beast cannot go to the stores and buy - and neither can they sell - do you not see then the advantage of being free of debt and having your own place in the country?
But the time is now to act in accordance with God's counsel, in order to make the most out of the situation just ahead of us.
MICRO-CHIPS
Presently there are many who think that the cipher-code system and/or the electronic monetary system is the mark of the beast. The number 666 is in these cipher-codes in a micro-chip, and then this again is going to be put into the skin in the individuals forehead or in their hand. It is possible that this may happen, but that this is the beast"s number or the mark of the beast is a satanic sidetracking maneuver.
If the electronic monetary system is the mark or number of the beast, who is then the "beast"? And how do all the other signs of the Bible in regard to the "beast" fit in? Personally I have a list of 16 signs that fit in with "the beast". The number of "the beast" and the mark of "the beast" are only two of these 16 signs. All the signs must fit in before we can surely say that here is "the beast". So far I have not seen anyone of those who have come up with the micro-chip theory as the solution to "the beast's" number and mark, come up with the solution to the remaining 14 signs.
Luther was right when he said: "The Pope has the signs of Antichrist."[21] It is only the papacy that fulfils all the Biblical signs of "the beast". (see the sketch).
But it looks like the electronic monetary system - that now rapidly is introduced at gas stations, stores, banks and so forth, may be a global control system, so that those who refuse to take the mark of the beast will not be allowed to buy or sell through this electronic monetary system.[117]

IN THE FOREHEAD OR IN THE HAND
The mark of the beast you can take either in your forehead or in your hand. The Bible says: "And he caused all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in the right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."[131] The forehead has to do with the head, the thoughts. And the hand has to do with work or deeds.[132] Those who realize what the mark is all about, but still keep the papacy's Sunday-commandment, will receive the mark in the forehead. Those who take the mark in the hand show by their hand and work what they have chosen. They work on the Lord's Sabbath while they let their hand rest on the day the papacy has introduced. In both cases they will receive "the mark of the beast". Very briefly it can be concluded: to accept the mark of the beast means that one comes to the same conclusion as THE BEAST, and defending the same ideas, in direct opposition to the Word of God.
While most people accept the sign of loyalty to earthly powers, and thus receive "the mark of the beast", a small minority chooses to be loyal to God's authority and thus receive "God's seal".[133]
To those receiving the "mark of the beast" this message of warning sounds from heaven: "If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation."[134] "But not one is made to suffer the wrath of God until the truth has been brought home to his mind and conscience, and has been rejected. There are many who have never had an opportunity to hear the special truths for this time. The obligation of the fourth commandment (the Sabbath commandment) has never been set before them in its true light. He who reads every heart and tries every motive will leave none who desire a knowledge of the truth, to be deceived as to the issues of the controversy. The decree is not to be urged upon the people blindly. Everyone is to have sufficient light to make his decision intelligently."[135]
Unfortunately too many will give in to the pressure from the authorities and take the mark of the beast, partly because they fear losing their jobs and will be in need of both food and clothes. But a true disciple of Christ will trust in God - through the last crisis, including these areas.
INFORMATION/EDUCATION - THEN TAKING A STAND
Dear reader! This is written not as an attack on individuals, but as a warning to you, that you do not be a part of a system which the Bible describes as being opposed to God. We believe there are sincere people in the different churches and denominations, including the Catholic Church (in secret societies etc.) We think it is very sad that they do not know how they have been deceived. But when they discover what falsification has been done to God's commandments - that they have kept man-made commandments and man-made traditions - yes, then we believe that some of them will take their stand and follow God's commandments instead of false man-made commandments. Oh, we pray that as many as possible who have been caught in Satan's net, will come to acknowledge the Truth and be saved!
Loving Jesus and the truth with all your heart is possible because "he first loved us". (1 John 4:19) Therefore - when individuals (regardless of positions and professions) get to know Jesus and what He has done to save them and accept Him as their personal Saviour, they will, in thankfulness and love for Jesus, follow Him and keep His commandments. They will follow Him, not by force but because they love Him.
Therefore John puts it like this: "He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him."[136] "For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous."[137]

Through them Satan will bring the people under his deceptions. While the former lays the foundation of Spiritualism, the latter creates a bond of sympathy with Rome."[138] |
SIGNS OF THE TIMES
Dear reader! The signs of the times reveals that Jesus Christ, the Saviour, will soon return. Soon the gospel is preached all over the world as a witness to every nation and people, something which the spreading of the Bible, litterature, radio and TV and satellite-transmission contribute to,...."and then shall the end come."[139] It is nearly as it was at the time of Noah. People take whoever they wish for a partner, and most people do not believe that Jesus will come back very soon.[140]
Today we also experience that the earth is being destroyed and wasting away. The earth seems to be out of balance.[141] Earthquakes, floods, cyclones, famine, drought, terrible killings, lust that gratifies self, families being separated and little respect for private property.[142] They talk peace, peace and safety. (Look at the speech of George Bush on the front page, the peace process in the Middle East and so on.)[143] The borders of the nations are broken down and the nations unite - under the control of the elite. Spiritualism (New Age),[144] apostate Protestantism and Catholicism unite more and more.[145] Strong forces are at work in order to introduce "the mark of the beast".... All these things are signs of the times. It means that end-time prophecies in the Bible are rapidly fulfilling before our eyes, in our days. And the last events will come upon us as travail upon a woman with child.[143]
In regard to "the mark of the beast", that is one of the last events that will happen before Jesus, our Saviour, returns. The Bible tells us that every man on earth will be confronted with this subject.[131] It also makes known that it is those who have "the patience of the saints...that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus" that will stand this test.[146]
THEY ARE ALL OF ONE MIND
We are at the threshold of a big and decisive showdown on this our planet. The Bible says: "The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed."[148]
Furthermore the Bible tells this about the rulers of the world: "These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast."[147] This describes how strong, well organized and united this movement is. "There will be a universal bond of union, one great harmony, a confederacy of Satan's forces."[149]
"In the warfare to be waged in the last days there will be united opposition to God's people (those who obey God's commandments and are faithful to Jesus), all the corrupt powers that have apostatized from allegiance to the law of Jehovah."149,146 The state and the church will unite, enforce and exalt the papacy's false day of rest - Sunday - contrary to the Bible's day of rest. "The fourth commandment - the Sabbath - as you find it in the Bible will be the great point of issue, for in the Sabbath commandment the great Lawgiver identifies Himself as the Creator of the heavens and the earth."[149]
Do you doubt the result? Jesus says: "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth."[150] It is Jesus Christ - the Saviour of the world - and those who take their stand on His side that will win in this warfare between the good and the evil, between Christ and Satan.[147] Which side are you on?
| The Bible tells about 10 kings that have not yet received
their kingdom. Some are of the opinion that these 10 kings
are the old Roman empire returning. But that can not be
the case, because these kings mentioned in the
Bible have not yet gotten any kingdom. The
Bible tells that they shall receive power as kings "one hour" (a
very short time) together with the beast - just before
Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the world, returns. Therefore,
the fulfilment of this prophecy is still in the future. [77]

THE RULERS OF THE DARKNESS OF THIS WORLD
The apostle Paul describes the great controversy this way: "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."[151] It is not the ordinary human being who is the great problem, but the believer has to fight against powers and rulers which have authority. If the rulers of this world use their power to rule and have dominion over people by their comprehensive laws, then personal freedom will soon disappear.
It is he who is at the top of the pyramid system. |
Paul, by Gods grace and mercy, was given insight into this world's system of authority. In this text of Scripture he makes clear what is behind the official facade. Behind the facade is the rulers of the darkness of this world - religious, political and economical top leaders who are members of secret and hidden assemblies and meetings, in order to link the world together by international laws, strong alliances and unions. And at the top of the pyramid you find Satan and his spiritual forces. The connection with the occult forces takes place on many levels, but it is quite clear that the higher up in the pyramid system you are, the more you are influenced by the occult forces. And the Bible does not hide the fact that it is Satan who is the real top figure and the source of inspiration in this world-wide pyramid system. This is confirmed from different sources. Let us give a few statements taken from the secret organization of Masonry.
Albert Pike a former leader of the Masonic-system, reveals who is the god of the Masonry: "The Masonic religion should be, by all of us initiates of the high degrees, maintained in the purity of the Luciferian doctrine.....Yes, Lucifer is God, and unfortunately Adonay (Christ) is also God."[152] In the book "The Conspiracy to Destroy all Existing Governments and Religions" by William Guy Carr, a mass is described - that Albert Pike had - where he sacrificed an animal "to Lucifer to commemorate the Synagogue of Satan's victory over Christ."[153] In the book "Morals and Dogma" Albert Pike writes: "Lucifer, the Light-bearer! Strange and mysterious name to give to the Spirit of Darkness! Lucifer, the Son of the Morning! Is it he who bears the Light, and with its splendors intolerable blinds feeble, sensual or selfish souls? Doubt it not!.... but Lucifer, God of Light and God of Good, is struggling for humanity against Adonay(Christ), the God of Darkness and Evil."[154] Several other secret organizations and atheistic groups have similar Satan-worship.
The Bible also reveals that Satan is the leader and coordinator of the forces in the physical, hierarchical system, regardless of what people may think. The people at the top levels might claim that they worship a god, not saying what god or force they worship, but those at the lower levels do not know which god this is.
The masonic authority of the 19th century, Albert Pike, in the book "Occult Theocracy" by Edith S. Miller, tells us who this god is: "That which we must say to the crowd is - we worship a god, but it is the god that one adores without superstition. To you, Sovereign Grand Inspectors General, we say this, that you may repeat it to the Brethren of the 32nd, 31st, and 30th degrees - The Masonic Religion should be, by all of us initiates of the high degrees, maintained in the purity of the Luciferian doctrine. If Lucifer were not God, would Adonay (the God of the Christians) whose deeds prove his cruelty, perfidy and hatred of man, barabrisms and repulsion for science, would Adonay and his priests, calumniate him? Yes, Lucifer is god, and unfortinately Adonay is also God."152
In the earlier quoted book of William Guy Carr, Satan-worship is once more confirmed. It reads like this: "As will be proved, only the adepts of the Final Degree are initiated as High Priests of the Synagogue of Satan; they worship Lucifer as opposed to our God whom they name Adonay."[155]
It is the central core among the elite who know that Satan is the boss, and that it is he they worship. But it must be hidden from the rest of the people. This core of the elite looks upon Satan (Lucifer) as their god - the god for the good things fighting against the god of darkness and evil, who they believe is Christ. Everything is turned upside down when you think of the Bible"s message, where Jesus is love, the light of the world and the world"s only Saviour.
"Illuminati" originates from the Latin word "lumen" = light, and "illumino" = enlighten. The secret organizations are like tentacles on an octopus, where the body is described as "Illuminati". They get their light - or are enlightened - by the lightbearer, which they call Lucifer, which is Satan. For the Christians it is therefore important that they refer to Jesus Christ as the true light that shall enlighten the individual as well as the world.
We understand that the struggle between God and Satan is intense. Therefore - in order to be able to stand in this struggle - we are encouraged to "fight". We must take on the full armor of God, including "the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God."[156]
When a human being has taken his stand on Christ' side, having the Holy Spirit and using the Word of God in the spiritual struggle he is in, then he has the armor that is necessary in order to "be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked."[156]
